An esteemed High Net Worth client in Qatar is seeking an experienced Business Excellence Manager  to oversee and manage luxury hospitality properties

About Role:

Business Excellence Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the organisation’s improvement plan to foster a culture of excellence across all the processes. The role holder is accountable for leading the continuous improvement initiative process and championing change across divisions to deliver exceptional levels of performance and development. The incumbent is responsible for implementing improvement initiatives. Business Excellence Manager is responsible for ensuring that governance and supporting mechanisms are in place for achieving organisational goals.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead business process redesign to streamline and improve workflows across the organisation.
  • Implement the Business Excellence framework and conduct benchmarking activities on processes, procedures, policies, and guidelines to facilitate alignment, consistency, and productivity to produce value to the organisation.
  • Drive optimisation by reviewing the key processes and key operational areas of respective divisions and identify improvement opportunities that will enable the delivery of sustainable organisational results.
  • Actively involved in the development of operational processes and procedures and ensuring that effective checks and controls are included to foster operational excellence.
  •  Address operational challenges by formulating strategic solutions and problem-solving strategies.
  • Promote process excellence and efficiency across the organisation.
  • Create a system for assessing and presenting the improvement opportunities in connection to the projected benefit so that they may be evaluated alongside the senior management team and prioritised.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand issues and manage the process excellence journey, which may include cross-functional collaboration.
  • Establish support from all stakeholders for process improvement implementation.
  • Collaborate with division leaders to form project teams and ensure that the objectives of the desired change are established, owned, recorded, and measured so that progress can be reported.
  • Establish systems to track KPIs to measure the progress and success of operational excellence initiatives.
  • Perform managerial functions at the level established by the management for the position.
  • Hire, train, encourage, coach, and review team performance while offering constructive feedback and training opportunities.
  • Provide the progress work status to the respective reporting head and Management as required.
  • Perform other special duties and projects as needed in support of organisational goals.

Desired Skill(s) & Competencies:

  • Knowledge of process improvement.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis software, such as Minita.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Knowledge of MS Office.
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and leadership qualities.
  • Displays adaptability in an ever-changing environment.
  • Effective problem-solving and influencing skills.

Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.
  • Certified Six Sigma professional (Green or Black) or related certification.
  • At least 10 years of experience in process improvement, quality management, or a similar role.
